Jun 06, 2007 Wolverine partners with John Deere Wind Energy Cadillac, MI
CADILLAC, MICH. – Wolverine Power Cooperative said today it has signed a long-term agreement with Harvest Wind Farm, LLC, to purchase renewable energy from the company’s wind farm, which is planned for construction near Elkton and Pigeon, Michigan. John Deere Wind Energy is the principal owner of the Harvest Wind Farm project.

Sep 18, 2006 Wolverine Issues Engineering Services RFP For Wolverine Clean Energy Venture Cadillac, MI
Wolverine Power Cooperative has issued a request for proposal (RFP) to a predetermined list of qualified engineering firms for extensive engineering services related to the Wolverine Clean Energy Venture near Rogers City, Mich. "Issuing an RFP for engineering services is the next step in the advancement of the Wolverine Clean Energy Venture," said Dan DeCoeur, vice president of generation. "We plan to have a firm selected by the fourth quarter of 2006."

Wolverine Power Cooperative recently donated "Friday Folders" to Cadillac Area Public Schools for the 2006-2007 school year. The folders will be used in Cadillac elementary schools to help teachers, students and parents track the progress students make throughout the school year.

Jul 21, 2006 DeCoeur And Molitor Named To Wolverine Senior Management Team Cadillac, MI
Dan DeCoeur was named vice president - generation and Kim Molitor was appointed vice president – rates & administrative services at Wolverine Power Cooperative. In addition, Danny Janway was named vice president – engineering & operations, assuming engineering responsibilities while continuing to manage the co-op’s transmission operations.

May 12, 2006 Wolverine Announces Plans to Investigate Clean Energy Projects Near Rogers City, Michigan Cadillac, MI
Wolverine Power Cooperative said today it has secured an option to purchase approximately 400 acres of property near Rogers City, Mich., from O-N Minerals (Michigan) Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Oglebay Norton Company. Wolverine secured the option to evaluate the site for clean energy projects that could include base load and renewable generation for its member-cooperatives.
