The Wolverine Clean Energy Venture (WCEV) is Wolverine Power Cooperative’s development of new electric generation projects at sites near Rogers City, Michigan.

The WCEV has two components - a base load power plant and a wind turbine farm.

The WCEV base load power plant consists of two units at 300 megawatts each. Above is a rendering of the power plant.

Pictured at right is the meteorological tower at the proposed wind farm site near Rogers City. The tower is recording weather data to determine the feasibility of wind energy at the site.
